Although procedure will vary slightly from project to project, the overall process is generally the same.

Here are the steps involved to take your idea from conception, design, creation, completion, and all the way to installation, use, and practical realisation in your business.
  • We meet with you for a general ‘non-formal’ feel of your business, what you’d like to achieve, challenges you wish to overcome, and any other particulars that will help us both gain an understanding of your structure, and also the level services we’re capable of delivering.
  • Once we establish that your expectations can be achieved, the next step is to survey your business and existing infrastructure for a more formal familiarity.
  • After receiving your system’s specifications, if we don’t have any matching suitable specifications that will imminently solve your needs, we then offer a unique specification for you. This is usually done on a time & materials cost basis, and will provide you with an accurate estimate quotation.
  • We determine and document the project risks, and then submit a Project Terms of Reference to you which includes the scope, along with a draft project plan. This forms the agreement for the project.
  • Once the project is initiated, Global Integration begins building a working prototype. This creates the product in tangible form that you can view, and also allows us both to analyse the results and re-evaluate any specifications that may be needed.
  • All and any programming continues on the main project along with the required project management meetings and documentation. At various stages we meet and discuss the working system, and determine if there are any changes required. Changes may or may not cause the price to be adjusted. Documentation (if any) is completed.
  • Client training is provided, and the finished product is handed over to you for acceptance testing. An iterative process is followed with your testing, and programming changes until accepted by the client. If any data need importing, it’s also done at this step.

Finally, the project is completed, and the system is proudly handed over to you for use in production. Any ongoing support is provided.
